I wanted to start Tyler in the offseason. I think he has a chance to be great. I guess Pennington is made of glass. Lol

The knock on Thigpen is his consistency. He brings excitement and big play possibility, and then will turn around and make a throw that has you scratching your head. I watched him throughout training camp pretty closely, he has a good arm but he struggles with ball placement sometimes. He's still young, so hopefully he can develop and really push Henne for the starting job.

I like Thigpen, but if Henne can play I say we go with Henne. I think the Dolphins have 3 quarterbacks that can win games in the NFL and that is nice situation.

I prefer Thigpen at this point...

I think he is more accurate than Henne and his mobility is a huge asset. Henne has no idea what to do when he has to run or evade...he just panics and crosses the line of scrimmage and looks to slide or head out of bounds....

If Henne can go, it's a no-brainer to start him.

And has a well documented history of throwing games away by making boneheaded throws.

There is a reason he's the #3 QB. There is a reason we ran the WC at the end of the 3rd quarter in order to avoid playing Thigpen and making Henne ineligible to return. And it isn't because he gives us the best chance to win.

If Henne can go, he goes. That is the only consideration at this point.

Thigpen's main body of work till now was on a Chief's team with very little talent. Thigpen ran for his life most of the time. Henne makes enough boneheaded throws already, so why not at least replace him with someone who has some wheels? I think we will be pleasantly surprised with Thigpen. This week will be a rough one though...only a few days to prepare. If Wake can't go, Chicago will be tougher to beat...they can't block out pass rushers, but I don't think we have any real threats outside of Wake.

Thigpen is Jason Allen all over again. He has the potential for the big game and he also has the potential for the awful game. He's very streaky. Unfortunately for Miami, they have no choice at this point. My feeling after watching the Henne injury isn't good. His foot got twisted underneath the tackler. Pennington...I labeled him Chad Fragileton when he was a Jet. Looks like he will always be injury prone and this last one was likely career ending. I hope he becomes a QB coach. Thigpen has some nice scambling ability .... that might help. His ability to buy that extra time will help open up plays downfield. If Henning doesn't hamper him with plays that keep him in the pocket, this could be a good thing for Miami.
