Every week against every good opponent we come on here and blame this player or that player. When does this critique need to go to the OC or DC.
Henning: 1. The guy refuses to go with what is working. Whether its Ronnie or Ricky, or Henne, Henning out coaches himself on a regular basis. 2. He stubbornly keeps doing what isn't working...probably until Sparano forces him to abandon his stupidity. 3. As creative as the guy can be, he'll constantly have 1 to 2 headscratchers a game. 4. Who is coaching Henne to playfake on obvious passing downs - Maybe its me but it takes his eyes off downfield and turns his back. He then has to turn and make a quick decision. It is fooling no one. 5. Who forces bad plays on the offense? IE who would call a quick slant pass when a long pass is what is needed. At some point avoiding mistakes has to be thrown out the window and you have to attack the entire field.
STs - Have contributed in one way or another to every loss this year. In close games where the offense and defense are closely matched, ST's make a huge difference. Miami's ST's, although better, are still worse than the teams they're facing.
Defense - Mike Nolan is winning his share of battles. He lost today and at home to NE. Otherwise, his gameplans have been solid. His young defense is still making mistakes but just got beat on the field today.
