Good thing we didn't give up a draft pick for him. Our staff really wanted this guy and now that they have him he's gone as quick as he came. Maybe they'll do the same to McQuistan once Jerry is back to health.

I would have gone into shock if they gave anything for this guy... He is another first round bust.. And a Tuna first round bust at that... They even went as far as to bring him here and give him another chance...

Guess they didn't learn the first time..

Who takes his spot?

And Phins Rock, I guess your sig is not referring to Bobby? :ann0y:

Yes indeed......from coaches to players, you don't get the job done you get shown the door.

Direct result of Channing coming back I think. He had to have a stellar game to stay on the roster.

Yay.....but I hope the man finds work elsewhere and can still make it happen for his own sake. He was not a fit here, that is for sure.

I'm sure the Patriots or Jets will sign him where he will have outstanding games against Miami and become a special teams ace.
......hey, it's just our luck.

I'm glad they made the move, he was sucking it up pretty bad.

Okay...I've heard this twice. This guy has done a good enough job that Jerry might not get his job back. IMHO....

Just more depth. Pat doesn't bring to the run game what Jerry does.

Exactly what I was thinking Hypocritex, Jerry is by far the superior run blocker. McQuistan is nothing more than a stop gap until Jerry is back to health.

Further evidence that you don't actually watch the games.

Okay..what did I miss. Has he given up sacks? Is he just not getting good push with the running game? I just don't hear the guys name called that often for penalties. I see Miami didn't yield any sacks Sunday and they rushed for 150yds. So what gives.

Good thing I was sitting when this was announced ... NOT! I was actually wondering why he wasn't released when we fired our ST coach.

He's playing below average. I see him getting the boot once Jerry is healthy. There's got to be a better option out there in the meantime.
