The Good

Brandon Marshall had 10 catches for 127 yards. He is on pace for 118 catches and 1494 yards.

Cameron Wake put up 3 sacks, bringing his season total to 6. He is on pace for 19 sacks.

The offensive line did an excellent job of protecting Chad Henne. They also did an effective job of run blocking up the middle. Sealing the edge on outside runs could use some improvement.

Chad Henne did what he had to do to lead his team to a win. He had one interception and a few throws that were off, but he found Marshall early and often to establish the passing game.

Dan Carpenter had a great day, hitting field goals of 41, 53 and 44 yards. The latter was the game winner in overtime.

The Bad

Bobby Carpenter needs to be released. Another missed assignment on a punt. He allowed an opposing player to get a hand on a punt for the third consecutive game.

Vontae Davis allowed an 86-yard bomb to Greg Jenning that went for a touchdown. Davis also gave up some other catches. Not the type of day we're used to seeing from Davis.

The Ugly

Special teams showed improvement, but still had some miscues. As noted above, Bobby Carpenter continues to miss assignments. Lydon Murtha also got called for holding on a Dan Carpenter field goal. Last week, he gave up a block on a 59 yard field goal attempt that was returned for a touchdown. Clearly, coaching wasn't the only problem for special teams.

While the defense did an admirable job of containing the Packers offense, they looked pretty lost on the Aaron Rodgers touchdown run. When you have an empty backfield and the field spread out, the QB sneak is coming. Everyone knows that.

A tough win for the Dolphins. They are 3-0 on the road and did what they had to do to pull it out.

Good - Jason Allen had another pick enroute to another nice outting.
Good - Tony McDaniel had 4 tackles. Impressive for a down linemen in a 3-4.
Good - Crowder was back and blew up several plays.

Bad - Henne struggled with his accuracy all day despite getting good support from his OL and running backs.

BTW...I knew the sneak was coming as well. Pretty Lame they fell for it.

Didn't get to see the game so any info would be appreciated. Sounds like Henne, Marshall and R&R did well on offense. The D seems to be alive. I will quote my buddy who did watch the game and is not a Dolphins fan. His text read "Apparently this #91 is some sort of Reggie White/Ultimate Warrior hybrid." I think that about summed up yesterday's performance.

Jammer - Summary
Miami starts out like world beaters and goes up 7 nothing. The Pack then put together a drive, I believe after a partially blocked punt, and kicked a FG. Miami promptly drove down the field and got screwed by a spot on a 4th and less than a yard. 1 play later Rodgers hits Jennings for a long TD pass to make it 10-7 Pack. Miami put together another long drive that ended with a long FG. 10-10. It was 13-13 when Miami's drive stalls out and the Pack got screwed on a call of being over the long snapper (although technically right ala the tuck rule, should've never been called as the guy was a full yard off the LOS). Miami then drove in for 6 with a very cool throw back naked screen to Fasano. 20-13. Pack took the ball and a little over 4 minutes. They converted two 4th down plays to tie the game pretty much at the end of regulation. OT...Miami got the ball, 3 plays and punted. Pack got stuffed after 1 first down. Miami got the ball at the 50 after a bad punt and drove to FG range and won the game in OT.

Wake was a beast. He had 3 sacks (I think he had one taken away by a penalty) he also had a ton of QB pressures and hits. Oddly enough he started the game fairly quiet as they were doubling him on every play. When they quit doubling him, he absolutely took over the game. Dominant. Rodgers was clearly frustrated and it showed. Secondary, other than the 1 long TD that was VD getting burned, played well enough although both safeties are continuing to miss tackles. DB's overall played well. Run D was there when it needed to be.

Don't forget, on the 1 yard TD run by Rodgers, Bell was trying to relay formation shifts to Clemons and Misi and Rodgers caught all 3 of them sleeping as he slipped into their gap.

Another horrible pick .....The next play an 86 yard td that shouldn't have happened....

Accuracy is an issue....He seems to aim the ball sometimes
