During a recent conversation with Josh Moser of WSVN Miami, Jeff Wilson spoke about his future with the team. The veteran running back made it clear that he has no desire to play elsewhere.

“I would love to be back, I want to be back. I love everything about the organization, the city. It’s all been a blessing so to stay there and continue to be there, and not have to go to another place, and re-learn, and re-meet everybody all over again would be a major blessing because I love it there, and I feel like they love having me there,” stated Wilson.

In his limited time with the Dolphins, Jeff Wilson managed to make an impact. While sharing the backfield with Raheem Mostert, he still managed to produce in a big way on the ground.

I'm happy with a backfield of Wilson, Mostert and Ahmed as the change of pace guy.

Yeah, if healthy they certainly produce. The only remaining "hole" I see is TE, so if Miami wants to spend a pick on a RB to add to the group they have that luxury.

Miami resigned Myles Gaskin. I would say they are out of the market for drafting a RB.

I wouldn't say they're out of the rb market. Won't be surprised if they pick one up in the draft and make them compete with Gaskin for the last spot. And watch the camp cuts for a good fit.

Why? While I like what Gaskin brings as a 3rd down/back up RB. Why sign him?

Probably didn't like what they saw at the Combine and Senior enough to say "we are spending a 2nd or 3rd Round pick on this guy".

Don't get me wrong. I know RB can be found later, but where Miami is as a team, its time to get one of the better ones. If Gibbs is there then he should be the pick.
