At some point the Dolphins will have to invest in a rookie RB drafted high. This would be the year as value is good, but previoius OL draft selections that did not pan out and also the need for a CB and ILB may push this back another year. The Dolphins invested in offense last year, but my guess is that they will give Fangio another player early in the draft. I'd like to see a game changing RB added.

Grier has used a third-round pick on Kenyan Drake (worked out pretty well) and a fourth-round pick on Kalen Ballage (did not work out at all).

But this is probably a very good year to use a second- or third-round pick on a running back.

It's a position of depth in the draft.

Jahmyr Gibbs (Alabama), Devon Achane (Texas A&M), Zach Charbonnet (UCLA) and Kenny McIntosh (Georgia) are among the running backs likely to be considered.

Gibbs is explosive and versatile. Achane is a smaller but a dynamic burner.

Charbonnet is physical and aggressive. McIntosh is smooth and quick.

I would make the opposite argument that this is not the year to draft a RB high. There are a ton of good RBs in this draft.

Bijan looks pretty special, but everyone else looks fairly scheme specific.

Charbonnet is intriguing, but not the type of runner I believe Miami is looking for.

If they pick one on Day 2, I would expect Achane.

But, I'm expecting Day 2 to end with new Fangio toys and possibly an OL or TE, probably TE.

…..oh to have cash to bid for Saquon Barkley! Miami needs a versatile back who can get the tough yards and also use speed to torch defenses. Of course, it all would be better if the O line was solid. Instead, we will probably be treated to another injury filled year with musical chairs.

Franchised, but yet you make a joke about another injury filled yr, while drooling over Barkley who has only played two full seasons out of five and just happened to have his best yr in a contract yr

Why are you such a hypocrite on things?

I predict free agency for the OL & DBs for the top draft picks.
