Well, it turned out to be a close game. With the Dolphins having the ball with a chance to win it or tie at worst. Need a drive. But not only did the Dolphins have to deal with Bills defense.

Oh no, the play clock, doomed the Dolphins.

The team, played hard today, though.

Good game and a good season. Looking forward to next season. Coach will learn and grow. Skylar looks good enough to keep as a backup and develop. Draft another sign a veteran let them sort it out.

Will be getting a whole new secondary back from injury. Make some needed moves clear some cap sign a few vets and do what you can in the draft.

We all knew going in this was a likely loss and potential blow out. Miami did make a fight. Rather, Miami’s defense made a fight. I hate to lose but 34-31 that came down to the wire is respectable.

Defense played surprisingly well. Imagine how things might change if the Phins could actually field a good O line. I know, I know….we can’t expect our GM’s to acquire the necessary players with only 12 years or so to work on that problem. We can always watch reruns of Tyreek Hill and Waddle’s greatest catches….well, until defenses figured that out.

I don't wanna hurrah hurrah a moral victory, but I'll take a team showing up and not laying down any day of the week.

McDaniels needs to work on his play calling, buffalo gave us some freebies by calling timeout when the clock expired.

If Tua is in this game, I have a good feeling we win it. But alas not meant to be. Gives some inspiration for next season.

Maybe they ought to let Sieler and Wilkins play some O line too….at least they have some fire in their game.

Based on the past 5 games, all the injuries and inactive, and I expected this to be a blow out but even with the outcome, I can live with the loss as they bad Buffalo earn it and lost with respect!

Even the announcers and papers listed us as big time under dogs and expected a blood bath!

Buffalo thought they had an easy win!

A third string QB, a banged-up O-line, numerous injuries etc. etc., and they almost won...I can feel good about this loss. This team should hold their head high and get ready for next year. Yeah there were lessons to be learned from this one, but you got to give them credit as they made everyone take a step back and take notice!

If TUA comes back healthy and Skyler is the backup, I think we roll much better, but the O-line needs to be priority for once so we can give our QB time and the protection they need.

I don't foresee Buffalo winning the big one anyhow...49ers and KC is my prediction.

Just my 2-cents...

I was very happy yesterday as I expected an embarrassment. It sure started out that way, but the team rallied and played hard.

Disappointments? The OL play was terrible. No running lanes as our backs were hit behind the LOS and Skylar was under constant pressure by a very good Bills DL. They did not handle the blitz well at all, but they did work hard. Another thing that frustrated me was McDaniel deciding to just throw the ball after the Dolphins got a lead. After the Bills went up by 10 points, he went back to mixing up the run even though it wasn't very effective, but it needs to be done to keep the defense guessing and not pinning their ears back and going straight after the QB. Once this was done, we saw receivers get open. Lastly, getting plays in to the QB was slow, and some of that is on the rookie QB.

Kudos? Turnovers, finally. I think we expected this all year, but the playoffs are a great time to reveal it. Our ball hawks, X and Holland came up with the interceptions, and soon to probably be gone Zach Sieler picked up a fumble for a TD after Phillips knocked it loose. Excelllent job by the defense in keeping Allen from running for a lot of yards. I thought Boyer did a good job adjusting and mixing up a lot of formations to keep the offense offbalanced. Very smart of him to start using a fast DB as a spy on plays that Allen might think about running. Skylar Thompson looked much better, but he still left some plays on the field. What can you expect from a rookie 7th round pick. He played better than many players drafted ahead of him. Also, McDaniel did a good job of calling a balanced offense for most of the game.

I was very proud of the effort.

Lol….what a lousy comparison. Purdy plays behind a great O line, had two 100 yard rushers in his playoff game and the best D in the NFL. If this is Tua backlash, then it is just stupid….at least Skylar played in the game.

For every Brock Purdy drafted in the 7th round, I can name 100 clipboard holders if they are lucky. Purdy is the exception to quarterbacks drafted in the 7th round.

Early drops by Hill and Waddle were not helpful in multiple ways.

Wrong about Purdy. His ol also had injuries and Deebo was out for sometime. He makes plays that Skylar doesn’t. Skyler was 17 for 45? Come on. Should have started mike glennon.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha…..OL with injuries, but hey….two 100 yard + rushers in their playoff game. No comparison at all. SF builds their team through the draft and has great depth. Miami…Swiss f’n cheese lineup full of bandaids.

Brock Purdy had 1st Round hype as a sophomore and was already showing signs of being a cerebral QB at Iowa State. He wasn't a project, just short with a mediocre arm. He also is a very good athlete who makes plays with his legs.

It is not surprising that he is thriving in an offense tailored to his strengths.

No one heard of Skylar Thompson outside of Kansas State fans.

Two completely different prospects.

If skyler was on the 9ers right now, would they be as good as they are? They were the only team to blowout their opponent. You can laugh all you want skyker blows. I don’t understand your crush on him?!?

Oh and the rushers with over 100? It helps when a qb can make plays. Bills had 10 man fronts to stop the run, and dated Skylar to beat them which he did not.

Nope…just realistic expectations from a guy who got maybe two weeks worth of practice reps, was an unheralded 7th round prospect and got stuck behind one of the worst O lines in football. i will tell you what Skylar does have though….he started in a playoff game. He also was the QB when the team won a must win game to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Tua was ….well Tua.

:))

Just think. Their GM traded three 1st Rd. picks in 2021 for a QB that had stated 17 games since 2018 and now might be on the trading block after starting 4 games over the last two yrs..

BTW, ever noticed how you love everyone else's team in the NFL?

Just F-in pay attention for once.

Brandon Aiyuk, Javon Kinlaw, Dante Pettis, Jalen Hurd, Trey Lance, Ambry Thomas, and Trey Sermon agree with you. :haha

LT = Trent Williams - Signed as a FA ( 6 Yrs - 138 Million Deal )
LG = Aaron Banks - 2nd Rd. Draft Picks ( 2021 )
C = Jake Brendel - Journeyman - Been with Five Different Team ( Including Miami for 3 Yrs ) - I'm sure fans blasted him. Never started regularly until SF.
RG = Spencer Burford - 4th Rd. Draft Picks ( 2022 )
RT = Mike McGlinchey - 1st Rd. Draft Picks ( 2018 ) - ( 9th Overall )

Only Trent Williams has made the PB as a Niner, which further supports my always point. OL is not about having great talent, but being able to mesh five men into a unit. Which leads back to coaching.

Yeah.. I mean offense just looks crippled with him in. No chunk plays or explosive plays. It's very clear to me that the Dolphins need a backup who is more then competent in this offense.
