Don't get me wrong as I like the Tyreek Hill trade, but there are always problems with paying a player this kind of money. First, they rarely play as well as they did prior to the contract. Second, they are usually "Me first" kind of people and complain when they do not get the ball enough. Last year he had 111 receptions and he still complained. It could be because they lost some of those games and he felt if he'd gotten more opportunities/better plays called they could have won. I think he's been a very good leader so far, but he is running his mouth too much. Waddle isn't there to draw double-teams away from him, but to be the next Tyreek Hill.

Mike Masala (DolphinsWire / USA Today) wrote:
One of the more interesting aspects of the podcast was the look back at Hill’s time in Kansas City and revealed that he was texting Rosenhaus after games to complain about his usage.

This is the same year that Hill recorded a career-high 111 receptions, 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns on his way to his sixth straight Pro Bowl.

On Tuesday, NFL analyst Rich Eisen posed a fair question about these comments on “The Rich Eisen Show.”

“If he feels that way about [Patrick] Mahomes and [Andy] Reid, how’s he gonna feel about this new situation, when it doesn’t, invariably, go very well,” Eisen asked. “When Belichick might pull his Jedi mind tricks, his dark-side mind tricks on Tua [Tagovailoa]. And, he’s been paid now.”

It’s going to make it difficult for me to follow the team if this guy goes full diva on an astronomically loaded contract. I already barely care about the NFL as a whole at this point. Recent events with Jack Del Rio just further drive the nail into the coffin for me. Big corporations are pissing all over the constitution & the NFL is one of the big ones leading that charge in the entertainment industry.

It’s ridiculous.

Can you bow out when they're shouting your name?

Think of how they all adore you!

Hopefully this high priced addition will not turn out to be a Phantom like some others have, I am certainly not expecting that as I think he is the real deal.

It's a tad bit early to say that he's going to be unhappy. As a matter of fact it's a tad bit early to say anything about what he's going to be. What is he right now? Setting a great example for the younger guys (Waddle) by all reports and robustly sticking up for his QB. That's what he's done so far.

Speaking of Tyreek Hill, he's been an excellent leader to Miami's group of wide receivers. When some players get paid, and you see a fall off in performance and a lot of it is drive and attitude. They feel they arrived. BTW, some profanity in this clip.

Were the gentlemen there practicing manspreading and mansplaining? Asking for a friend.

Imo they were just being guys but in today's culture sensitive environment I sometimes need clarity. : )

Most of it sounded like street talk, but I won't say anything more than that or I'll get labelled.

More info on what makes Tyreek Hill so special from Julian Edelman.
