There are issues, but it's still the best NFL video game. Maybe it allows you to take a knee for the National Anthem, too.

They bought the license and prevented anyone else from developing a better NFL experience…which wouldn’t take much. EA arguably has the worst business practices in the business. Their approval rating may be even lower than Biden’s but because of the NFL partnership…it’s a guaranteed cash cow for them regardless of effort. The game was basically the same version of itself from 2010-2020 and they just painted a different retail cover on it & sold it for $60 annually.

The way they target kids with gambling style monetization in the game is arguably even worse. Hawaii tried to outlaw the game for that reason last year. They suck.

I’ve watched a few reviews and it looks like EA is extorting players with the same nonsense once again, but even worse. EA are used car salesman using the brand name of a legend to coast on an NFL license. They are THE worst in the entire gaming industry.

I hate to be that guy but they’re profiting off of his death because M23 is not a passion project. It’s just more of the same recycled BS with even more in game, predatory micro transactions that are never worth your money. It’s a scam of a franchise at this point. EA is on the ugliest side of capitalism.

I hope you aren't going back to techmobowl, East.

That is a little too yesteryear even for me…but there are a few early ‘00’s classics certainly worth reviving over playing anything with the EA Sports tramp stamp of disapproval on it.

Blood Bowl? Never heard of that one. Looks like they had a release this year. I may try it for fun on my XBoxOne. Unfortunately, I cannot play the great 3D games because I am one of those people who get motion sick playing them.

Here is Josh Houtz' thoughts on Madden.

Madden performances must be run by a disgruntled Patriots fan, because this is laughable.
