It's now in the hands of the team on how players are screened.

The league NFL and NFLPA suspended COVID protocols back on March 3rd, and don't appear to be re-implementing them at this time. While COVID surveillance has been suspended, players and staff are still expected to be tested for COVID "when clinically indicated and/or at the direction of the club physician." Any player or staff member experiencing COVID symptoms is also expected to report them and provide a negative test before entering facilities. Teams can still require players and staff to stay at the team hotels during training camp, however they do not need permission to hold training camp at an alternate sight.
