It's a good move even though Ingram is not the player he once was as he still holds up well against the run and he still puts pressure on QBs. He will fit nicely into the rotation and be able to step in if there is an injury. With center JC Tretter still available, I would have thought we'd sign him. but maybe those knees and ankles of his has scared off most teams including us.

Dolphins signed EDGE Melvin Ingram, formerly of the Chiefs. The Dolphins brought in Ingram for a visit before the draft, while the Chiefs applied the UFA tag to Ingram after it. No matter, the Dolphins took the leap on Ingram, who figures to rotate with Emmanuel Ogbah and Jaelan Phillips as well as play on passing downs. New DC Josh Boyer definitely has a lot of talent to work with as he tries to step out of the shadow of Brian Flores.
