The NFL scheduling has been crap for quite some time now…. In the past, the top teams played top schedules. It would be much better to scrap the concept of you playing a whole non-conference division….instead, if you won your division, you play top teams in the other conference….not bottom feeders. Same in your own conference. Sure, you play your division opponents twice each…but the rest of your schedule should be based on your previous year ‘s win/loss record.

Green section is the easy section. So phins have 11th easiest schedule.

I see 9 wins on the schedule now. The key is beating New England twice. If the team does that, I can see 11 wins and a wildcard spot. If the team can beat Buffalo, then the division is in reach….but hard to believe we pass the Bills this year…..

You also can’t really “punish” successful teams with brutal schedules either ..

Outside of the elite teams, schedule strength is a very arbitrary measurement as it’s based on how team performed the previous year. For example, the Bengals went from a losing record to an AFC Championship appearance.
