Back in 2019 we hired a coach that I thought could have been the answer to our problems. Fast forward to 2021 now looking back I believe we made a mistake hiring Flores. There seems to be a recurring theme that Flores isn't very good at hiring coaches. This is extremely evident with our staff this year, while having co Offensive Coordinators seems to be novel it just isn't working. Our defense is also going backwards this year as well. I have heard a lot of folks on this board blame coaching for the offensive line problems. This I also believe to be true it seems no matter what players we draft or trade for they just can't mesh. Next is our drafts I was one of the people that thought Tua was the right choice to make. I still believe the jury is out on Tua. There was a lot of speculation that Herbert would have been a better choice. With the current coaches I don't think it would have made any difference which QB we drafted. I really have a problem that Flores really hasn't taken ownership for the failure of this team this year. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have seen enough of Flores. He can not put together a staff. The defense seemed to be a strong suit for Flores, but that unit has regressed. The team is one Xavien Howard play from 0-4. They just got dominated by the pathetic Colts…..wow.

Clean house again….but this time, get rid of the real dummy responsible for F’n up this team….Grier.

Good coordinator.
Never hire a HC from the Belichick cootdinator tree.

I actually am not sure he is a good DC at this point. The defense has regressed, despite sucking up a lot of free agents and high draft picks. Perhaps they are just tired of playing with an offense that could not beat some college defenses?

Replace the dummy.

With another dummy.

With another dummy.

With another dummy.

And another dummy.

And probably another dummy.

And another dummy after that.

And then? Probably another dummy.

Sadly, that is Ross’ track record. Which college coach is innovative on offense and likely ready to make the jump to the pros?

How about Mike Gundy? He seems to get the most out of Okahoma State’s roster despite not having great recruiting clout…he really has schemed the offense well each year to get a lot out of the talent available. James Franklin from Penn St? He once interned for the Phins….and Penn State has been quite solid lately. Kirby Smart, Georgia….who would seem unlikely to leave a top program about to add QB Arch Manning…..

I posted before that the problem isn't the talent, but how how the coaches are setting them up to fail.

Flores has to own this.

Brissett is a big problem but so many stupid decisions are hurting him too. Play calling is beyond pathetic.

Today should have been a cupcake. Seriously. Miami's defense folded after realizing how desperate it is for them.

You know, I'm feeling optimistic now about the season as a whole. We are stuck with Flores....but.....Although Miami may lose a lot of games, I believe the next bills vs Patriots game is going to be fun for me to see the Patriots get shut out like 45-0.

If it were Brady, then he would have stayed in NE and won with lesser talent. However, he cherry picked. Brady wants it easy and he got it.

Personally I still stand with Coach Flores. I do think he needs to have someone else that he clears his coaching staff choices through. I think he is the right guy at HC, but needs some time and guidance on some things with staffing.

Get Joe Brady from Carolina. Look what he's doing with Sam Darnold today and with Joe Burrow in LSU before that. He doesn't have the ego of Gase and for sure a more proven hands on record and in a short two years.

But that's far fetched with Ross making the decisions. He's on record as being very socially minded and going against that by putting two minority hires on the street would buy him a lot more grief than what he gets from what by comparison is simply a silly game.

He won 11 games with Matt Cassel.

Last year he rolled with Cam Newton and purposely fielded an inferior roster to see which young talent was worth keeping.

Put Tannehill on the Patriots this season and they are 4-0.

He lost to the Super Bowl Champions yesterday by a field goal and had a rookie QB who was Tua's backup at Alabama. Belicheat is the greatest coach of the modern day NFL. Of course, the greatest coach of all time is Don Shula.

That looks like he is going to be pretty good.

I know how much you hate TommyNoleFin the traitor but he's right about Ross being a lousy owner.

I am starting to think the coach may be in over his head I hope he proves me wrong.

Our offense is turning into a joke and Flores’ vaunted D is collapsing under the weight of carrying the whole darn team. Flores seems to be arrogant and inflexible.
