Is it bad that I chuckled when I read the title??

Quote:
After a strong offseason, Ted Ginn was turning critics into believers in San Francisco. He was set to be the team's return man and deep threat as a No. 3 receiver; the roles he was meant for.

But like so many 49ers, his first Sunday of the season was miserable.

Ginn caught one pass for 19 yards before departing with a knee injury. It turned out to be an MCL sprain that will keep him out at least a few weeks. The 49ers signed Jason Hill to take his spot on the roster.

Don't chuckle. We should wish him well. He came, he tried, he failed. But only failed to meet "our" standards that were placed on him as the #9 pick.

If he came out of the 6th rd, he'd still be on the team.

Doubtful. We chucked our 2nd round pick from last year because he stunk the joint up. We'd have kicked Ginn to the curb long ago if he was from the 6th.

I'm surprised he was in bounds long enough to actually get hit. He'll be more scared than ever after recovering from this.

I wish him well... He has been nothing but classy about the whole Miami trade, even said he couldnt blame us fans for not living up to the expectations...
