For what its worth, I think I'm done with the wildcat. If you've noticed its no longer the wildcat. It is the spread offense. Jake Long and incog are still on the left side when they line up. The true wildcat has incog on the right side of center. Anyway, it also seems to me that Henne is a rhythm type of guy and if he gets in a good rhythm, the wildcat usually gets him out of it. Unless Henning has a new wrinkle or two, this offense could be dead.

I don't see Henne as a rhythm quarterback. He seems the same before and after we throw in the Wild Cat.

Sometimes the Wild Cat works and sometimes it doesn't get much. I actually like it. As long as we are getting positive yards I am ok with it.

Henning can put together an amazing play-book... I don't think I trust him to call it.

I'm ok with the wildcat... plus Henne didn't get into too many rhythms to speak of anyways... at that point we were just looking for some way to explode offensively.

So what happens when you promote Henne to General?

Wildcat execution seemed a little sloppy, as if they were giving away pre-snap whether it would be Ronnie or Ricky running with it.

LOL.

Well, Armando kind of echos your comment.

Another issue involves the play-calling with regard to flow. The Dolphins were working the Bills in their base set in the first half and then they went to the wildcat. It changed the flow and the drive stalled.

At another point, Miami was again bullying the Bills on an apparent drive. Then they called for an end around with Davone Bess. Bess who is a fine slot wide receiver with good quickness, but does not have a lot of speed to get wide. The reverse went for no gain.
