Ronnie Brown rushed 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and added two receptions for 20 yards to lead the Dolphins over the Bills in Week 1, 15-10. If Sunday's game is any indication, Ronnie is the "get the lead" back and Ricky is the "keep the lead" back. Showing pre-injury form with athleticism, patience, and strong running, Brown was the offensive focal point in the first half. Though Williams ended up with more carries (18), this offense is at its best when its running through Brown. A tough matchup looms at Minnesota.

The Minnesota game will tell us whether or not this team is an actual contender. Can the front 7 stop Adrian Petersen? Can they get to a gimpy old Favre early and force turnovers? Can the offense get more than one darn TD? The Vikings defense held the Saints to 14 points....and they have had an extra couple of days to prepare.

Minn exposed some nice weaknesses in that o-line. Nolan should be able to exploit those weaknesses next wk

The key is containing Peterson. If we can contain him, they don't have much else in the bag except for perhaps a little Luck of the Favre (I say luck because he's as likely to throw 4 picks in a game as he is 4 TDs).

We will need to try and run, and Henne will have to take some chances with the ball.

I disagree. It will certainly be a good test, but it's still WAY too early to gauge what we will have over the next 4 months based on what we show in week 2.

We won't be able to accurately gauge what we have for the long haul until week 4 or 5.

After week 4, we will know what we have. We would have played against the Jets and Pats AT HOME; those are the games to see if winning the division is possible or a pipe dream.

The Vikings game is actually one of the 4 least important games on our schedule for NFC matchups don't even factor into tie breakers until step 4 or 5 .

I can't disagree more. The Vikings are a Real test against a real rush attack, and a real defense. The Vikings defense is no slouch. You see what they did to New Orleans??? We'll know what we are made of after this game.

We can't make a statement like that after week 2.

If we lose, then according to you, is our season over? We have no shot at playoffs?

If we win, then are we certain to be playoff bound?

I'll reserve judgment until weeks 3/4.

Minnesota on the road will be a huge test for the team. It wouldn't matter if it were week #1 or week #15.....

I am happy it is in week #2. Favre is rusty, old and gimpy...fresh off his missing most of camp and preseason. Contain Petersen and good things should follow.
