Shaq Lawson was also a very vocal leader at Clemson as he created positive energy for that defense ... very similar to Christian Wilkins.

“It starts with the running game,” Shaq Lawson said. “In the NFL, if you get your run game going, it might be a long day of stopping the offense.”
The Dolphins defense had 48 tackles for loss last season. Lawson had a career-high 13 last season, which bested his total in three previous Bills seasons.
At Clemson, as a junior, Lawson had 24.5 tackles for loss. That’s incredible. That’s more than half of what Miami had a team last season.
“Create a new line of scrimmage,” Lawson said. This will surely please his defensive line coach at Clemson, Marion Hobby, who will happen to be his next defensive line coach with the Dolphins. “He developed me into the football player I am,” Lawson said of Hobby.
