Ok guys, I've set up the Phinfever fantasy leagues that we do every year. As usual, this is a free league for any member who wants to join. This is the info for Phinfever I.
Usually we do them on Yahoo!, but this year we'll be doing 2 on NFL.com and 1 on Yahoo!. This league's draft is set for Saturday, August 14 at 10:30 a.m. (Keep in mind that there will be three leagues, and you can only join one, so, if you cannot make this time I would suggest waiting for one of the other 2 leagues). To be easier on the west coast people, I will make one of the next 2 leagues' draft times a little bit later in the morning as I know we had a couple people who were forced to wake up way too early on a Saturday, or miss the draft completely because of the time.
So far we have done normal snake drafts. But for this league (only league we will do this with in order to try it out) we'll be doing an auction draft. For those who are not familiar with what an auction draft is, it basically goes like this: Each team starts out with a certain amount of "money". Instead of each person selecting a player onto their team, they select them into bidding. Once you select a player, anybody can bid for him, and the highest bid wins. After each bid the clock resets to 10 seconds, so, it's not a matter of luck. I find this to be a little more fun and it requires more concentration, and also makes every round meaningful because it is not necessarily the best players going first. Time wise, it's about the same as a normal draft, (in some cases a little bit longer, but not by a significant amount from personal experience).
If you're not interested in that type of draft, again, I would suggest waiting for another league as there will be 3. OK, so for those who are interested in this type of league, here is the info.

Let me know in this thread or via a PM if there are any problems. This is the first time I've used NFL.com's fantasy leagues as a manager, so, I'm hoping that's the right link.
I think I hit on all the points I wanted to make.
Thanks, and let's have fun! They always are!
