I expect the Dolphins to get slapped for this as Gase has been very arrogant towards the media when it comes reporting any injuries. It just shows that he is using injuries as a strategy and there is nothing wrong with that as long as he lets the League Office know. This past week he reported that Tannehill practiced in full on Friday but he only practiced 80%. Belicheat got around this by reporting just about everyone as injured. LOL.

Tannehill was a surprise inactive Sunday after practicing all week and being listed questionable. He's dealing with at least a two-game absence, suggesting Miami knew he wasn't playing. The Dolphins expect Tannehill back this season, but there's no timetable for his return. Brock Osweiler will start against Detroit in Week 7.

Agreed, and what was even more embarrassing was Salguero's blog this week about how this is another "dark history" moment for the Dolphins. He literally compared it to Wannstedt gutting the team, Saban quitting and the Philbin-Ireland feud.

Well, that's the end of that. I felt there was a fine coming over this. Not a big deal.

The Dolphins and Coach Adam Gase were fined a total of $45,000 for violating the NFL’s policy on reporting injuries leading up to the Oct. 14 game against the Chicago Bears. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a shoulder injury and missed that game along with the next three.

The Dolphins were fined $30,000 and Gase was docked $15,000 because the club listed Tannehill as “full participation” on its Oct. 11 injury report, the first of that week. Tannehill was unaware of the severity of the injury until the week wore on, when it became apparent he was unlikely to play.
