I don’t believe Miami has dominated a team more than Oakland over the last 15 years of suck *** football. Cleveland has put up more of a fight against us. I know historical facts dating back more than a few years don’t mean anything because of regime and roster overhauls and I always laugh when TV heads bring up several years of stats as an argument or inside preview into a matchup...but just a thought.
Oakland will be coming out pissed off and wanting to do damage. They need this win.
My initial thought is beware of the trap. Last week I questioned whether the Jets were too cocky coming into the game and it appeared they were. Sloppy play and turnovers doomed them.
My thought is maybe the Detroit beatdown was a fluke coming off the opener, they were an unproven commodity to begin with and one game wasn’t enough to credit them and the Jests just aren’t that impressive. I absolutely agree that Oakland is dangerous though.
Lynch is still playing? Sorry for the unfiltered take, but that dude is a neanderthal.
With Gase at the helm I can tell you the team is definitely not going to be riding a naive high. At least that would be the message. Ultimately up to the players but I trust in Gase.
