NOT who I thought they were: Tannehill and Co. proving mettle at 2-0.

Coming into this season, I thought Miami could be the worst team in the NFL. Not so much. The Dolphins are alone atop the AFC East at 2-0 and they deserve great credit. I've been dead wrong thus far.

Ryan Tannehill has been really strong, much more than "just a guy," something I've labeled him in the past. The run game is consistent and the receivers have stepped up. The defense has been stout. Adam Gase's team won a road division game one week after surviving the longest game since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger. That shows you something.

It is a good thing Tannehill is getting the rust knocked off now before the playoffs. He has not played in over a year just wait till he hits his stride. Then the Phin s will really take off.

The worst team in the NFL? That's a stretch.

Most people could see 8 or 9 wins..

Run 1st and play defense will not be denied of less..led by Miami's next HOF player.

Have to keep pointing to all opponents before the bye. Lots of teams with problems.

No reason to stop using the same formula - RUN the ball (Drake, Gore, Wilson and Tannehill), manage the passing game with short YAC throws and the occasional deep shot, and have that run defense force teams into long throws leading to turnovers.

If they can go 6-4 heading into the bye (assuming road losses in New England, Cincinnati, Houston and Green Bay) then you're back stretch includes the Colts with no defense and twice against a Bills team that is in shambles. That is probably the most realistic path to 9 wins.

Steal a win against another team and its 10 wins plus playoffs.

The opportunity is there.

Lots of opportunities, agree with that. patsies and texans look vulnerable too.
