Friday was Day 8 of Miami Dolphins training camp, and this is how it looked:
Stock up

LB Kiko Alonso was all over the place, both against the run and pass. You’d have thought it was a regular-season game the way Alonso was using his seed to make plays. He had a tackle for a loss, broke up a pass in the end zone vs. TE Mike Gesicki, a nice tackle vs. WR Danny Amendola after a reception. A nice day for the veteran defender…
TE Mike Gesicki was on fire in the red zone drill. He used his size and strong hands to make numerous plays vs. LBs…

Stock down
LBs in red zone coverage vs. TEs. …

Team discipline … penalties

I wonder how Kiko was able to use his “seed” to make some plays out there?

Nice post of information from yesterday's practice, Mark.

Gesicki in the red zone = outstanding! Linebackers in the red zone = need more work as usual. Kiko's seed .... gross in anyway in Aqnor's "pmagination" (lol!).

We all know that Tunsil has the potential to be superb. In my opinion, having him face Quinn at practice and having Sitton to his right is going to get it out of him. Nice free agent moves by the Dolphins this year.

LT Laremy Tunsil had a second consecutive strong showing vs. DE Robert Quinn. Other DEs such as Cam Wake and Andre Branch were in hot pursuit of QB Ryan Tannehill at times. But not Quinn, who was being handled by Tunsil.
