With 6 days to Free Agency and the official start of the 2018 season, I thought I'd start a thread to predict where the qb's go. To me, this is one of the most exciting offseasons in the NFL because so many NFL franchices have the chance to change their fortunes by signing or drafting the right QB for them, and they've never before had so many options. Maybe we can get the Dave to give an award for the poster who hits on the most. (Deadline for credit on your savvy predictions ends on Tuesday, March 13th.)

To get us started, I'll give my predictions:

Kirk Cousins to Minnesota. The Jets offer him more, but the potential to win a SB outweighs money for him.

Though they want a 1st and a 4th for him, the Eagles send Nick Foles to the Broncos for a 2nd this year and a 3rd next year. They need picks to replace some of what they're losing.

Minnesota resigns Sam Bradford to back-up to Foles.

The Broncos' sign Kase Keenum to start for them. They need a QB now that can start and win with the defense they have.

The Browns sign McCarron as their starter, making Hugh a very happy man.

Arizona signs Teddy Bridgewater as their QB.

I'm not guessing where the nobodies like Sanchez and Stanton go.

Draft.

Cleveland takes Sam Darnold with 1-1
Giants take Josh Rosen with 1-2
Indy trades out to the Jets and they take Mayfield at 1-3
Miami takes Josh Allen at 1-11
(The smoke screen works!)
Bills take Lamar Jackson at at 1-21
Chargers takes Mason Rudolph with their 2nd round pick.
Patriots takes Kyle Lauletta with their 2nd round pick.
Washington takes Luke Falk with their 3rd round pick.
Saints takes Logan Woodenside with their 3rd round pick.
Arizona takes Mike White with their 4th round pick.
Pittsburgh takes Chase Litton with their 5th round pick.

What's happened so far:
Vikings...Kirk Cousins
Saints...Drew Brees
Redskins...Alex Smith
Browns...Tyrod Taylor
Broncos...Case Keenum
Cardinals...Sam Bradford, Mike Glennon
Jets...Josh McCown, Teddy Bridgewater
Bills...?

Cleveland traded 2-65 to the Bills for Tyrod Taylor. Didn't see that one coming.
Edit: their third round pick.

If Miami takes Josh Allen. I will RAGE. /uninstall /quitlife

Only Rosen or Mayfield are acceptable in round 1 QB wise IMO.

I wan't Roquan Smith still. Unless Miami can successfully move McDonald to LB.. Then I'd be happy with James.

Cousins to Vikes
Tyrod to Cleveland Obviouosly (And they draft Darnold)
McCarron to Bills
Bridgewater to Broncos
Keenum to Arizona
Bradford to Jets

I'm guessing he'll be the only one to drop. It sure doesn't look like we are going to move up, but Buffalo may.

I'm hoping like heck the Jets resigning McCown and signing Bridgewater to a one year prove it deal means they're thinking something at 1-6, not qb. We may not get Mayfield, but I sure don't want to play against him 2 times a year for the next 12 plus years. They were rumored to like Allen, so maybe this is their back up plan if the Bills take him?

The Jets QB room seems like a full house right now. I have to really doubt that they draft one with their #1 pick. Could this open things up for us to take BM #1? Hard to say... lots of teams want QBs.

You didn't mention Sam Darnold. Is that because you expect him to be the first QB off the board and unavailable? I'm not comfortable about drafting Allen either. He has some serious flaws. I would add Lamar Jackson at 11 as I think he just needs work on his mechanics. So, in my mind, if Darnold/Mayfield/Rosen/Jackson are available to us at 11, I would take any of them.

Yes. I think Darnold will be gone within the first 2 picks.

I'm ok with Jackson in round 2. Miami has show with the restructuring of Tannehill's contract that he is here to stay for another couple years. Jackson could make a nice backup while he is groomed and learns from Tannehill. Mayfield won't be happy (he has said as much) sitting for a couple years. So, I think Miami is out of the running for a 1st round QB. I hope 3 or 4 go before we pick. That means a stud will drop to us.
