I know the Phins d is not great but imagine how much worse the run d would be with an extra blocker free to get to the next level.
Before these last two games, I would have said what does it matter. But the entire defense took it to another level last night. It's hard to say they let NE score 20 points and were dominant, but they were. When you see brady look that frustrated, you know they were doing it.
Back to my original question, I'm just wondering if we found another rookie or two and kept Phillips, whether losing Suh would really matter. Olrick and Solai did well for us not so long ago, and neither was as good as Suh. How crucial is Suh to a 4-3 defense compared to nose tackle in a 3-4.
