1. Stat of the Game I: One-for-15. That was Denver’s third-down conversion rate ... Thing is, one thing the Denver’ offense has done well this year is third downs. It entered the day ranked eighth in the league at converting third downs (41.3 percent).

2. Kenyan Drake had a nice day headlined by a 42-yard touchdown run ... 23-carry, 120-yard game — the first 100-yard day of his career.

3. Stat of the Game II: Dolphins had three interceptions on Sunday.

5. Five of the past nine passes thrown to DeVante Parker have been intercepted. That included a pick-6 that Justin Simmons stepped in front of him and returned 65 yards for a touchdown. It’s hard to fault this fully on Parker. But there’s a pattern here of him not making a strong push for the pass and either catching it or breaking it up. Again, we’re in Year 3. Again, you don’t see progress being made. He had one catch for 5 yards Sunday. Repeat: One catch, 5 yards.

8. The Dolphins’ offense found their form against Denver as the game went on. But you saw how they dig themselves a hole against better opponents. On successive, first-quarter series, Denver defensive end Shelby Harris went unblocked on a play that disrupted the whole series. In fact, let’s go further than that. On the first series, the Dolphins had a good drive disrupted by Mike Pouncey’s holding call. On the second series, Shelby came untouched through the left side of the Dolphins line (with Drake even running by him going out for a pass) to sack Cutler for a 6-yard loss. On the third series, Harris again went unblocked to upend Drake for a 5-yard loss. Those are the kind of negative plays that have crushed the Dolphins’ offense this year. Again, as the game went on against a bad opponent, they righted themselves. But in Week 13, we’re still seeing the same mistakes that caused such problems all year. ...

Will Parker be just another going somewhere else to make some noise.

Did Cutler miss it or was Shelby supposed to be chipped by Drake?

That's where the frustration comes in because you would think it was discussed for that play. Nice to get the win.

Parker is so disappointing.
Which means he'll likely go to someone like the Pats and light our butts up.

If that happens, the Dolphins have shown they are wiling to rip themselves off to make sure a player is traded to someone outside the AFC: 2016 Pro Bowl RB Jay Ajayi to the Eagles for a very late 4th round pick.

The line was horrible..... If it weren't for Cutler bailing us out. It would have been a loss.

Cutler had a surprisingly good game. He wanted the win. He moved around in the pocket, evaded the rush, took hits to deliver strikes. It might have been his best game of the year. A real head scratcher watching Cutler’s ups and downs.

There are some who say that inconsistent or up and down play is the hallmark of Cutlers time at the qb position.
