I don't like Rex Ryan. I actually hate his guts and think his immaturity casts a bad image on the NFL and the Jets, (the latter not necessarily being a bad thing). The media loves him because he gives them quotes, but I don't see how his crying and (b)----ing can be good for the NFL.
His father was the same way and never gave any opponent any respect or credit for anything, even The Don, and is always trying to pick fights through the media. Then when he wins something, he feels like he should be the center of the world and anybody not bowing down to his greatness gets him irritated.
Am I a homer? You bet your you-know-what I am, but Coach Sparano is exactly the type of coach that NFL teams need. A players coach who doesn't play media games and is all about doing the hard/overtime work without getting recognition. Rex Ryan had a PROCEDURE done to lose like 30 pounds or something. He hyped himself up. Coach Sparano worked his tail off to shed weight and trim down, and apparently looks great and you do not here him talk about it at all. It took the media hard-digging to find out what he did.
IMO, Rex Ryan wont last 3 more years in NY, and being as honest as possible, this is what I think of the man and the coach.
