“Chris Grier has done a great job,” he said. “There are four rookies that are playing a lot. [Cornerback] Cordrea Tankersley and up front between Vincent Taylor, Davon Godchaux, Charles Harris. They've all done a nice job. We see Charles as a three-down player. We just don't see him as a pass rush specialist.

“Cordrea has length. He has really good ball skills. He anticipates well. He's really competitive. Even though we weren't seeing it on the field the first couple of weeks, we were seeing it at practice and if you look a the last year and a half, one of the things Adam always talks about is practices will be competitive and the best players will play.”

Tannenbaum said the organization is trying to “win for today - and Lawrence Timmons and Rey Maualuga do that - but you're also trying to develop for tomorrow, and between the Chase Allens and those draft choices, we're encouraged by what's happening on defense. And Matt Burke, our defensive coordinator, has done a nice job.”

did they ask TennenBum if they were even in the Duane Brown trade discussions? I would want to know. Tunsil hasn't locked down any position based on his play and upgrading the personnel on this very offensive line should be a priority, no matter the arguments that could be made against the move. The 'bum is adept at picking up the scraps that feed the bottom of the roster, a move like this would send a clear message that we have movers and shakers in the front office and that this team is willing to do whatever it has to. A bummer we don't a championship caliber front office. It will be Gase's achilles heel for as long as TennenBum remains in charge.

Tannenbaum was on the NFL channel on Sirius yesterday. First of all I guess he pre told them to keep it short. It was like a 5 minute interview and thank god.
This guy is a tool. His comments seemed scripted. He brings no knowledge of the game to the table.
I dont know how this great franchise employs this guy. I always get some insight when management guys are interviewed. This guy is just collecting a check. He really needs to go. As great as Gase is , this guy just stymies everything.

You know it's bad if Finesse is complaining.

The continuous inability to field even an average offensive line year after year after year, wasted draft picks, foolish trades and poor medical advice/decisions (Tannehill) should lead to a huge house cleaning amongst the "brain trust" who make the personnel decisions. However, just as in politics, ineptitude seems to be protected and rewarded.

It's always nice when people say you have done a nice job. It's like when you ask is she pretty.
