Dolphins Warn Media about Reporting on Offseason Practices
Fri May 21, 2010

The Miami Herald reports that besides declining to disclose details about player injuries, the Dolphins warned reporters on Wednesday that they would be violating the team’s media policy by reporting what positions players are working at when they watch off-season practices. That rule continues to be ignored and no reporter has been punished.

I wonder if the Fins will try to cut the media out of practices if they keep breaking this dolphin rule?.......I guess the whole media vs. FO battle will continue getting stronger? :hithead:

this is getting old already. its football not national security. if you are gonna alloow the media , you have to assume they are gonna do their job & report.

If they can't say what position people are playing at, what exactly are they allowed to say? They may as well cloes practices to the meidia.

The team has every right to say this - but enforcing it is something else all-together. They have already cut down big-time on reporters bringing technology (laptops, cell phones, etc.) into training camp and practices - only allowing them 5-15 minutes with them per session. I have no problem with it.
