Friday morning, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Moreno's lack of activity is due to his left knee, which has been bothering him this spring. It was sore yesterday, so the Dolphins had him take it easy -- it is not the knee in which he suffered a torn ACL in 2011.

Rapoport, citing a source who spoke to the player, reported that Moreno's knee did feel better than it had previously, however, arthroscopic surgery is possible. The running back plans to see a doctor in Miami next week to find out.

ProFootballTalk first reported that surgery was a possibility

Is this just a reporter putting 2 & 2 together and saying "possible surgery" for some web hits?

The darn media is so untrustworthy.

Miami RB Knowshon Moreno, whose knee was bothering him, felt better yesterday. He’ll see a doc next week to determine if surgery is needed

That “medical issue” with which Dolphins running back Knowshown Moreno reportedly is dealing presents nothing exotic or unusual. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Moreno has an issue with his knee.

The other knee. Not the one in which he suffered a torn ACL in 2011.

The source says Moreno may need arthroscopic surgery on the knee, but that it’s nothing significant at this point.

Yes I have read these, but who is the "source", too often these days the "source" is just an assumption made by the writer.

I'm not saying it isn't true, just saying I can't trust media "sources" much anymore, Moreno told a "source", he didn't say it directly, nor have the Fins, not that they would disclose anything at this point, the media is so focused on "breaking news" that they are just fishing for it too much.

They are saying that the injury is pre-signing damage.

Figures that we sign someone slated to help and someone who had a good season with the Broncos and now comes to us potentially damaged. If of course this all true.

Wonder how much of the one year $3 Million dollar contract is guaranteed.

Let's hope Lamar Miller has a breakout year as he was my number one choice anyway, but either way the running back spot has to improve.

Why didn't the Doctors catch this? We didn't draft a RB which might end up being a huge mistake.
