-- Matt Moore just threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Arthur Lynch for the day's first score. Tight end was wide open.

-- Tannehill to Daniel Thomas for TD on swing pass. Was a red zone drill that went fairly well.

A little early for that, not all the RBs can make the squad, someone has to be cut and he is just a back up making 2nd round money, once we signed Moreno his job has been in jeopardy.

I was being completely sarcastic. It was one play without pads on, I wasn't serious...

You know, that thought did strike me before I submitted that comment, it's just so hard to tell sometimes.

I know what you mean, hard to interpret text without body language or tone of voice. Yeah, we can all agree that Daniel Thomas sucks.

:yay:

The offense had a bounce-back performance after a shaky outing on Tuesday. There were more explosive plays and less sloppiness. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw a pair of nice touchdowns, to receiver Mike Wallace and tight end Michael Egnew, and backup quarterback Matt Moore connected on a deep throw to receiver Brian Hartline. Overall, it was about even between the offense and defense. Tannehill also threw two interceptions, to safety Reshad Jones and defensive end Cameron Wake. Neither side was dominant.

Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey returned Wednesday after sitting out the first day of minicamp. The offensive line performed much better with Pouncey in the lineup. Here is more good news for the Dolphins: They had perfect attendance for the second straight day. The Dolphins have no contract issues of note this year. ...

Scrimmage Thursday

Philbin said the Dolphins will have a controlled scrimmage on Thursday, the final day of the three-day minicamp.

“We’re looking for competition,” Philbin said. “We’re going to mix it up and kind of throw the guys into a pot and stir it around. ...

Notable

Jenkins, the second-year player from Florida, has done a good job at strongside linebacker throughout the offseason and might be a regular in the nickel package…WR Jarvis Landry, the second-round pick from LSU, had another good day…DE Derrick Shelby, the third-year player from Utah, is worth watching. He’s making a move for playing time at a crowded position…RB Lamar Miller, the returning starter, continues to hold off veteran RB Knowshon Moreno, the free agent signee from Denver…S Jimmy Wilson, the starter at nickel last year, is entrenched as the starter again at nickel. No one is coming close to taking his job…The second-team OL, for now, is C Sam Brenner, right guard Billy Turner, right tackle Jason Fox, left guard David Arkin and left tackle Nate Garner.
