Found this, thought it was a good source of available names.

Have to be honest, bringing Ronnie Brown back intrigues me. Got to watch him in the playoffs and he'd be a nice complement to a drafted back.

Would love to bring Ronnie back. He was always a tremendous pass protector. Still has some game left.

He'll be worth every penny when RT perfects the deep ball. That and well if Wallace starts fighting for the ball.

As far as RBs go, I'm holding out hope that Miller can improve with better blocking.

FA list looks good, but how many of the top guys will be "franchised"?

Would love to bring in MJD if he hits the free agent market. Great all around back and would allow us to focus on solidifying the offensive line and linebacking core via the draft. Hoping one of our young cornerbacks pans out after being out all year with injury. If RT continues to progress, I truely believe we are a few key pieces away from unseeding NE atop the AFC East!

The Bills are a QB away from being somebody too, I believe. Great RB game, great defensive line.
Hard to tell if some of their problems have to do with coaching yet as I am not as involved with them as I am us. The Jets shocked me by going 8-8 but they still lack a good QB and a couple of other areas. Rex Ryan is a good motivator but I don't know how long that will hold up.

We need to fire Coyle. We need to switch back to a 3-4. We need to fix the o-line. If we do those things I think we will be battling the Pats for the Title. I believe we will at least fix the o-line. Pretty sure Coyle is staying at this point. I would have loved to see what Keller would have done on the field with Clay. Hope they resign him and hope his knee is better.

Mike Wallace, Brandon Gibson, Brian Hartline, Charles Clay, Rashard Matthews.

That's a decent core of WR's and play makers. If our o-line was so destroyed we would have probably been a far better team. Tannehill was forced to take sakes at the worst times specially ay the end of the games. Could have been a lot different.

You need 4 new guys on the o-line, a decision between Starks and Soliai, locking up grimes, a competent RB or two, some potential depth at WR (Hartline, Gibson and Binns all nursing bad knees), a true TE, and some secondary depth.

Two guys I think facing the chopping block are Patterson and Moore. Patterson played great but is an injury liability. Moore is being paid 5 million to be a backup QB. If you want to add pieces via FA I think you have to consider cutting them.

If I'm the new GM my wish list is the following:

Re-sign Grimes, Soliai and Clemons.
Spend the big money on Brandon Albert (I don't believe the other LTs make it to FA)
Try to lure Ronnie Brown back.
Try to get Nolan Carroll back.

Not sure there is much else a new GM can do in FA. Really have to hope Dallas Thomas can start at G, Taylor and/or Davis can replace Patterson, and hopefully Dion Sims becomes a legit blocking TE.

Oh, and please find a bleeping fullback. I read a stat that the 4 winning teams this past weekend ran the ball a combined 149 times mostly out of the I formation. We saw how that worked out for the winners.

Yep and in the meantime we run from the shotgun for no yards...gogo.

Why not Ben Tate?

He's fast, powerful and tough. He played through cracked ribs most of this season and has put up good numbers running in the zone blocking scheme.

There will be some decent linemen in free agency that can help compliment any rookies we draft. Wade Smith would be a good fit here.

I just wonder how much he will cost. Thought perhaps a Brown/Miller/rookie combo might work best.

I think Miller is a decent enough back. The oLine is the main reason we could not run the ball.

Didn't we draft him a few years back?

I loved Ben Tate coming out of Auburn. Thought he was the best back in that draft class.

That said, no way I'm paying a Free Agent running back the amount he'll likely command. I'm really stubborn with acquiring tailbacks through the draft, and using free agency for depth.

Jammer, Patterson's salary is weekly for Miami. Will cost the same to cut him today as it would the day before Week 1: Zero.
So for that reason you keep him through camp and make a decision at that point. If they cut him because they really need the cap room in free agency, they have serious issues.
