Titans quarterback Jake Locker will return to the starting lineup on Sunday against the Dolphins unless he has a setback in practice this week, coach Mike Munchak said today.

Locker hasn't played since re-injuring his left (non-throwing) shoulder against the Texans on Sept. 30. The shoulder was dislocated twice in the first four games.

Locker was a full participant in today's practice, taking first-team reps for the first time in five weeks.

“I think I have said from the beginning, if we feel he is ready to play physically and mentally, he is our starting quarterback and he’ll start," Munchak said.

Not too sure what to expect out of Locker. He's a great athlete with inconsistent accuracy. I just don't see them being able to do too much damage in this game. They rely on Chris Johnson and the run game to set up the pass, and if we shut down their run game that will give them serious problems. Locker most likely won't do to us this week what Luck did last week. He's just not that good.
As far as our offense goes, I expect a nice performance this week. The Titans defense is ranked 27th against the pass and 30th against the run. I think we'll pretty much be able to do what we want in this one. I'm thinking we've got a good shot to rack up some points and get another nice home vicory.

Dolphins 31
Titans 17

Folks, NOTHING is easy when it comes to the Miami Dolphins playing games. Haven't you learned that over the many years that blow outs are far and few between? Right now, I will look forward if Miami takes care of business and gets the "W", but I never under estimate the opponent in the NFL.

You just never know, but one would like to believe that Miami should handle Tennessee Sunday.

I agree, even though we're the better team on paper, and we're at home, we still cannot afford to overlook the Titans. A few teams have overlooked them and gotten beat. We need to focus on the task at hand, and come away with the win. We can't get caught off guard because we're peering into the future and looking at that division matchup against Buffalo next Thursday night. If we want to have any chance at a playoff birth this season, we need to win these next two games. It starts by beating Tennessee.

Hard to imagine Locker being accurate on Sunday given that he hasn't practiced in 5 weeks....and given that he's never accurate anyway.

Hopefully the defense can pressure him, rack up some sacks, and create some turnovers. If they can do that, I'm sure Tannehill and the offense will do the rest.

Never underestimate the ability of the Dolphins to screw up an easy win or give the opponent a career day. We are about as unpredictable as you can get.
Yes, we "should" be able to handle Locker and the Titanics.

I like Locker, but let's hope that he is rusty. I think the better quarterback, even now, is Hasslebeck, but it is definitely time to look to the future QB there.
