Oh, man. How many starters are we going to lose this year due to injury? They've been devastating. The Dolphins haven't given us an official report yet, but I don't doubt what Rosenhaus is saying.

Barry Jackson wrote:
The agent for Dolphins receiver Albert Wilson said Sunday night that Wilson’s hip injury will cause him to miss “significant time.”

Agent Drew Rosenhaus, appearing in his weekly Sports Xtra segment with WSVN-Fox 7’s Steve Shapiro, said of the injury: “Unfortunately it looks significant. The best case scenario is that he would miss a few weeks. The worst case scenario is he could possibly miss the rest of the season. I’m sure the Dolphins will make that determination in the next few days. But certainly he’s not going to be available in the immediate future.”

Wilson injured his hip while being tackled by Teez Tabor in the first half against Detroit on Sunday and did not return. Wilson was scheduled for an MRI, the results of which were not made available late Sunday.

Rappaport saying it is looking like Wilson's season is over.

Crap.

The people that say we are snake-bitten and reference the curse of Shula or the curse of Marino seem more and more rational every season.

Heard a dolphin fan tell me about the perfect season curse. Until all the players from that team are dead, Miami will never win a championship.

Hocus pocus don't misplace, your focus
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
The Phins don't lose
cause of superstitions
but from bad front office
and draft day decisions.

His presence was a huge asset and welcome to the team this season, but this is the risk you take with an offense that features primarily finesse, shifty and speed oriented receivers. I don’t believe there is a more injury prone type of feature player out there arguably than a Bush type of running back.

Man, this sucks, but we don't want to lose this guy forever either. Say what you will about Gase, but he doesn't like players to play hurt unless he has no choice because he wants them as close to 100%. He has the big picture, and I think he trusts his system.

Barry Jackson wrote:
Coach Adam Gase has said Wilson is very likely out for the season with a hip injury and Stills will miss at least one game with a groin injury.

RotoWorld wrote:
Wilson doesn't need hip surgery, but the Dolphins want to give him time to recover correctly, so he will hit the injured reserve. Wilson, who can't return once he's placed on IR since the Fins already designated two players to return this season, is still only 26 years old and will be back with the Dolphins next season. With Kenny Stills ruled out for Week 8, the Dolphins will trot out Danny Amendola, Jakeem Grant, and DeVante Parker.

What's the over/under on Broctober throwing a jump ball in the endzone and a 5'10" Corner out muscles Parker for the ball? … asking for a friend.

Grant will have a lot more opportunities I expect. My guess is that our defense will be a bigger problem than our offense.
