This speaks of character and will. If he doesn't succeed it will not be because of hard work and preparation.

Good to see defensive end Charles Harris, off a two-sack rookie season, already hard at work with noted South Florida trainer Pete Bommarito.

Harris, a diligent worker, knows growth is needed, with the Dolphins finishing a disappointing 26th in sacks last season with 30.

Bommarito said the focus will be on everything — “mobility, flexibility. He wants to do training specific to his body. We’ll do hand drills with a boxing coach. He’ll do it all.”

Outside of Sunday I think I heard the guy’s name one time last year. He was a ghost.

He seemed to improve as the season went on and put good pressure on QBs, but he didn't come up with the sacks. I remember reading about Jimmy Johnson calling out JT early in his career during a team meeting where he's been, because he was having a quiet year. I am interested to see if Harris can take it up a notch this year. He wasn't my choice for our first round pick, but the team was very high on him.

Too early for that kind of statement imo. He got a lot of pressure, just not the sacks. I am hopeful that he will be what we thought we would be getting.

He is weak against the run too. How can a mediocre team miss on so many 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks for the last 20 years? This is a prime reason why they don't have a solid core of young talented players. How does a team with so many holes and so many needs not draft better?
